Disability is no barrier

We have disabled people who are volunteering with us because they also want to make a contribution to their community and they feel that volunteering increases enormously their quality of life.

RSVP volunteer Peter Hewitt has been disabled all his life and is a wheelchair user. He is an organiser of our Finchley Memorial Hospital Project. He recently wrote

"I now find that once again I have a purpose in life doing something where I am greatly appreciated for my contribution to the community, and not spending my life in dependent isolation."
